Welgevonden Game Reserve has two airstrips available for guests flying to Sekala Private Game Lodge:

Suitable for most small to medium charter aircraft

Located adjacent to the Welgevonden Main Gate entrance
Coordinates: Available on request when booking
Suitable for light aircraft and most charter flights
Longer transfer time to the lodge (approximately 45 minutes)
Convenient option when combining with road transfers
Not recommended for Sekala guests
Located at the eastern boundary of the reserve
Please use Western or Main Gate airstrips for all Sekala arrivals
Our team will arrange collection from either airstrip to transfer you directly to the lodge. The transfer from the Western Airstrip to Sekala takes approximately 20 minutes.
