While wildlife can visit the waterhole at any time, certain periods offer particularly rewarding viewing opportunities:
5:30 AM - 9:00 AM: Animals often visit to drink after the night's activities, providing excellent photographic opportunities in the soft morning light.
11:00 AM - 3:00 PM: Elephants and buffalo frequently visit during the heat of the day, seeking hydration and often providing spectacular viewing from the comfort of the shaded main deck.
4:00 PM - 6:30 PM: As the day cools, various species gather at the waterhole, creating a perfect sunset wildlife tableau with golden light ideal for photography.
